Dry Salted Cod / Saithe
Dried salted codfish is well known all over the world as a high quality product. Low in fat, rich in minerals such as iodine, iron, calcium and vitamins, including the important vitamin B. Codfish is wholesome and easy digestible. A pure product of nature.
Since the Cod has been salted and dried it has to be desalted and rehydrated. This is achieved by one process: Soaking. After this process the Cod will have regained its suppleness and taken on a consistency and flavor that the fresh fish would never have.
Dried Salted Codfish keep very well when stored at temperatures between +2C to +5C.
Our dried salted codfish is available in different packaging but mainly in 10 kg or 25 kg cartons.

We supply backbone saithe for the African continent. The fish is packed in 9 kg cartons and the size is 25/40 cm. It is delivered in 40′ containers, holding 3 000 9 kg cartons.
